A presentation for pupils, staff, parents and local residents about the SOE operative Captain Ronald Taylor who served behind the lines in occupied Italy. He was born in 1916 at the family home at 29 Carlton Street, but the street was demolished before the start of the Second World War and this now part of the site occupied by Carlton Hill Primary School. A blue plaque in Ronald Tayor's memory will be put up and officially unveiled at the school during 2017.

CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?

Tim Davis will talk about the brand new children's novel written by his late wife Anne de Cintra. He will explain why and how she was inspired to write this book in order to share her passionate interest in the wartime experiences of civilians during France's occupation and also of those who resisted.

"Can You Keep A Secret?" has been illustrated by the Brighton-based illustrator Louise Prentice
