TESTIMONIALS: Brighton's Secret Agents event

at Brighton Dome Corn Exchange   -   Sat 12th Nov 2016

What a fantastic day it was in Brighton.  I had no idea so many people would be there!  I thought the morning session was so well organised and Paul did a fantastic job.  It was all very moving.
Thank you for such a wonderful day. It is so important to remember those brave people and what they did during the war.

Thank you for organizing the Brighton plaques and all the surrounding events and publicity. I can only imagine how much work was involved.

- biographer of SOE agent

I would like to thank you very much for today. You must be delighted with how it all went and with so many facets, it went seamlessly.

It all ran like clockwork and from a seat in the audience  was highly polished and professional. Congratulations to all involved.

The event yesterday ticked all the boxes of your mission statement in enlightening us all of the knowledge, bravery and courage of those engaged in covert operations during one of the darkest periods in our modern history. May your organisation go from strength to strength and continue to serve as a source of empirical knowledge to be passed on to present and future generations, by keeping the memory alive of those who so selflessly served to defend our great United Kingdom.

Sensational event, superbly crafted and choreographed. Brighton has never seen the SOE  commemorated before, as far as I know. Many there were simply stunned by the presentation and its historical importance. We are so proud of you. A truly brilliant achievement. Thank you Martyn for the idea and the vision, the hard work and the sheer skill at bringing it off so professionally.

Now it IS being told ...

It was a most impressive and professional event. Martyn Cox and his team could not have put on a better presentation in any respect. Indeed everyone praised Martyn in particular for all his hard work over many months in order to make the occasion as successful as it was … it was  a memorable event. I would not have missed the it for anything.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this event.  It was very helpful and informative for my own family research.  Thank you.

What a wonderful occasion it was yesterday at the unveiling of the four blue plaques. I must admit I was extremely moved as each of the plaques were revealed. Paul produced a wonderful talk on the four honoured. Your charity has done the four very proud indeed and I'd love to be a part of it in some way! …. once again, thanks so much indeed

A truly great programme of events, which went superbly well ...  Well done on all your endeavours as it seemed to go without any glitches in spite of the grim weather.

I enjoyed and was really impressed by the ceremony on Saturday

- relative of SOE officer

A huge congratulations to all of you for planning such an amazing event. Everything appeared to be so seamless yesterday, but I know that it has involved a tremendous amount of work and organisation, not to mention loss of sleep and frayed nerves. The amount of effort really paid off, as it was quite clear that everybody thoroghly enjoyed a day which was interesting, informative, stimulating and moving. I was so pleased to be able to be involved,
